SOLD: Magic Monica 1978 Tartan Sailboat

The Magic Monica has been sold. We hated to let her go, but we decided to move on to the next phase for the Perdido Key Sailing Club. Here are all the details about our beloved Magic Monica.

The boat was located at the Oyster Bar Marina on Perdido Key.  It is the one with a red stripe on the hull deck joint. We just hauled her about a month ago - topside and sides repainted, bottom cleaned and painted with two coats of ablaitive antifouling paint, thru-hulls inspected, boot striped repainted, stuffing box and cutless bearing inspected, good to go.

She is a fast sailing fin keel and skeg hung rudder design, great for weekend camping trips (Destin, Crab Island), regattas or longer adventures. Sails well into the wind and has a high mounted boom for worry free tacking. The Yanmar YSB 8 diesel and Evinrude 8 hp outboard both run well and the rest of the boat is in good condition. Includes Walker Bay dingey. Asking $6000 but will entertain reasonable offers (we took the reasonable offer).
